Responsibility for Amazon Data Science Intern:
- Utilize data analysis and statistical techniques to enhance the customer experience and provide insights for strategic business decisions.
- Investigate and identify predictors and root causes of business challenges, employing innovative methods for forecasting and prediction.
- Take the lead in executing data-driven analyses to uncover growth opportunities and formulate data-backed business recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple teams while providing quantitative analysis leadership, ensuring that all solutions maintain the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.
- Apply analytical skills to identify and address the underlying causes of business problems, contributing to their resolution.

Preferred Qualification for Amazon Hiring:
Pursuing or completed a Master’s or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. Hands-on experience and project-based learning in computer science, engineering, or mathematics is a plus.
Academic experience in data manipulation, model selection, model training, cross-validation, and scalable deployment.
Academic or project experience with Machine and Deep Learning toolkits such as MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe, and PyTorch.
Academic experience with Big Data platforms like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
Familiarity with data processing using Python, R, and SQL.
Familiarity with AWS services related to AI/ML is highly desirable, particularly Amazon EMR, AWS Lambda, SageMaker, Machine Learning, IoT, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2 Container Service, and Green Grass.
